Angelo Ogbonna confident of bouncing back against Liverpool

Angelo Ogbonna is confident that he will recover from his below-par performance in the loss to Bournemouth when West Ham United meet Liverpool.

Angelo Ogbonna has insisted that he has nothing to fear as West Ham United prepare to visit Liverpool on Saturday afternoon.

A poor defensive display from the Hammers was punished in a 4-3 defeat to Bournemouth last weekend, and Ogbonna was one of the main recipients of criticism after Slaven Bilic took the centre-back off before the break.

However, the 27-year-old is confident that he can put a disappointing performance behind him as West Ham look to recover from successive losses.

"This is my world. It's my job," Ogbonna, who cost a reported £8.5m when he arrived from Juventus this summer, told The Mirror.

"If I was going to be scared of something like that, I might as well go and become a dancer. Why should it scare me? It is just a game of football."

Ogbonna has started all three Premier League games this season.
