Sam Allardyce expresses his disappointment at West Ham United's 2-0 away loss to Everton in the Premier League.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has said that he is "bitterly disappointed" with his side's defeat to Everton on Sunday.

Kevin Mirallas scored twice at Goodison Park to help the Toffees register a 2-0 win in David Moyes's last home game in charge of the team.

"I'm bitterly disappointed," BBC Sport quotes him as saying. "It's always difficult to play at Goodison Park and David Moyes's record speaks for itself.

"I warned the players but they chose to take no notice of me. It left us with a bad performance. There was only one man who did their job in my team and that was goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen."

West Ham are now 10th in the league table with 43 points from 37 matches.
