Tuesday's La Liga predictions including Villarreal vs. Valencia

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's La Liga fixtures, including Villarreal vs. Valencia.

Mallorca vs. Alaves (Tuesday, 6.00pm)

Two teams battling for their lives towards the bottom of the La Liga table will lock horns for a relegation six-pointer on Tuesday evening, as Mallorca welcome Alaves to Visit Mallorca Estadi.

Mallorca are currently 17th in the division, one point ahead of 18th-placed Cadiz, while Alaves are bottom of Spain's top flight, four points behind their opponents ahead of this contest.

We say: Mallorca 2-1 Alaves

Alaves have been so disappointing on their travels in the league this season, so it is difficult to back the visitors with any real confidence despite their win over Rayo last time out. Mallorca have been relatively strong at home this season, meanwhile, and we fancy the Pirates to shade a close contest here.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Real Betis vs. Elche (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Real Betis will be looking to keep themselves in the running for a top-four finish in La Liga when they welcome Elche to Estadio Benito Villamarin on Tuesday night.

The home side are currently fifth in the table, three points behind fourth-placed Atletico Madrid, while Elche sit 13th, seven points clear of the relegation zone with six games left.

We say: Real Betis 2-0 Elche

Elche were excellent against Mallorca on Saturday, but we are finding it really difficult to back against Real Betis in this match. Pellegrini's side need to keep winning to stay in the top-four race, and the home team should have too much quality for their opponents on Tuesday night.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Villarreal vs. Valencia (Tuesday, 8.30pm)

Champions League semi-finalists Villarreal will be bidding to make it back-to-back victories in La Liga when they welcome Valencia to Estadio de la Ceramica on Tuesday night.

The Yellow Submarine are currently seventh in the table, six points behind sixth-placed Real Sociedad, while Valencia occupy 10th position, seven points behind their opponents in this match.

We say: Villarreal 1-0 Valencia

Villarreal's focus will be on the upcoming clash with Liverpool, but they must remain professional in the league, and with Emery likely to select a strong side here, we are expecting the Yellow Submarine to collect all three points in front of their own supporters.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
