Gordon Strachan to stay on as Scotland boss?

Gordon Strachan will lead Scotland into their World Cup 2018 qualification campaign after agreeing to sign a new deal, according to a report.

Gordon Strachan will reportedly put Scotland's Euro 2016 qualification disappointment behind him and stay on as manager for another campaign.

The 58-year-old saw his contract with the national side expire following last week's heavy victory over Gibraltar.

Strachan has since taken time out to think about his future, but according to BBC Sport the ex-Celtic manager has agreed to lead the Tartan Army through to the 2018 World Cup.

Scotland, who have failed to reach a major finals since 1998, finished fourth in Group D for Euro 2016 qualifying.
