Rangers youngster Darren Ramsay switches to Arbroath

Rangers midfielder Darren Ramsay agrees a loan switch to League Two outfit Arbroath.

Arbroath have completed the loan signing of Rangers midfielder Darren Ramsay.

The Scotland youth international, who has risen through the ranks at Ibrox, has agreed an initial deal at Gayfield Park until January 5.

It is expected that the 20-year-old will go straight into the squad for the upcoming League Two encounter against Montrose.

The Smokies lost their opening game of the new season on Saturday 3-0 to Elgin City.
