Laurent Blanc wants Paris Saint-Germain Coupe de la Ligue triumph

Laurent Blanc says that Paris Saint-Germain are serious about winning the Coupe de la Ligue despite planning to rotate at Bordeaux.

Laurent Blanc has insisted that he wants to win the Coupe de la Ligue with Paris Saint-Germain despite preparing to rotate his squad.

Just three days after beating Ajaccio 2-1 in Ligue 1, the champions make the trip to Stade Chaban-Delmas to take on Bordeaux in the quarter-finals of the cup on Tuesday.

"It will not be the same team," Blanc told reporters. "We want to keep going in all competitions and the motivation is there, but to do so with the same team is complicated.

"Let's be clear. We are trying to win our matches in every competition. This will be our third match in quick succession and they often say that is the hardest one.

"We are at a big club and we need to be able to compete at every level. Our squad allows us to send out a competitive starting 11 in every competition. We would like to win this Cup."

The match kicks off at 8pm tonight.
