Carlo Ancelotti pleased with Paris Saint-Germain display

PSG manager Carlo Ancelotti insists that he is pleased with his side following their quarter-final defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League.

Paris Saint-Germain manager Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that he is pleased with his side following their Champions League quarter-final defeat to Barcelona.

Despite a 1-1 draw at the Camp Nou on Wednesday, a 3-3 aggregate scoreline saw PSG exit the competition on away goals.

"We were good in possession and played quickly up the field," Ancelotti told Sky Sports News.

"We didn't just defend like a lot of teams who come here, we caused them problems."

PSG continue their quest for the Ligue 1 title on Saturday when they travel to bottom-placed Troyes.
