Neil Adams: 'Performance gives us hope'

Norwich City boss Neil Adams feels that his side's performance against Liverpool has given them hope that they can avoid the drop to the Championship.

Norwich City boss Neil Adams believes that his side's performance against Liverpool has given them hope that they can survive in the Premier League this season.

The Canaries fell to a 3-2 defeat to Brendan Rodgers's side to leave them just two points above the relegation zone with three games to play this season.

"We believe we can stay up. The performances we've seen – the 90 minutes at Fulham and at least 45 minutes today – have shown that we're more than capable of winning games," Adams told the club's official website.

"We've got three tough games coming up, but if we perform like we have done we'll believe that we can get enough points. People have seen that we've got a bit about us and that we've got every chance.

"We'll be back on the training ground as soon as, and we'll be ready for the game at Manchester United believing that we can go there and get something."

Norwich face Manchester United in their next Premier League match next week.
