Nanacy and Bordeaux play out a 1-1 draw at the Parc des Sports du Pont d'Essey.

Bordeaux have missed the chance to go fourth in Ligue 1 after being held to a 1-1 draw at struggling Nancy.

Djamel Bakar opened the scoring for the hosts just after that half-hour mark, when he headed home Helder Ferreira's cross from close range.

The visitors enjoyed plenty of possession but found it difficult to break down a determined Nancy rearguard.

However, their resistance was broken with 15 minutes remaining thanks to Henri Saivet, who slotted home following good work by Fahid Ben Khalfallah.

The scores remained level until the final whistle, helping Nancy to move off the bottom of the table.
