Report: Jonny Evans available for £5m

A report claims that Manchester United will allow Jonny Evans to leave Old Trafford for as little as £5m this summer.

Jonny Evans could reportedly leave Manchester United for as little as £5m this summer.

The Northern Ireland international has been with United since 2004, but has never really nailed down a first-team position due to a host of injuries.

It is understood that Louis van Gaal has decided to let the 27-year-old leave this summer, with just one year remaining on his contract.

According to the Daily Star, Evans could be available for £5m, with Everton believed to lead the race ahead of the opening of the transfer window.

Evans only made 12 Premier League starts during the 2014-15 campaign.
