Manchester United have reportedly agreed to cough up the €90m (£77m) fee that Borussia Dortmund are after for Jadon Sancho.
The England international has been the subject of a protracted transfer saga over the past year, as United refused to shell out a nine-figure sum for his services in the summer of 2020.
The Red Devils have since reignited their interest in Sancho, and while Dortmund have lowered their demands this time around, United have struggled to agree a fee nonetheless.
However, German outlet Bild reports that United have agreed to fork out BVB's asking price for Sancho, which would make him their third-most expensive signing of all time.
Sancho is already understood to have agreed personal terms with the 20-time English champions, and a deal could be wrapped up within the next week as Dortmund look to put an end to the long-running saga.
The 21-year-old ended the 2020-21 campaign with 16 goals and 20 assists across all competitions, but he has only played six minutes at Euro 2020 so far.
