Robin van Persie expresses his eagerness to win more trophies with Manchester United next season.

Robin van Persie has insisted that the Manchester United squad is keen to build upon their success last season.

The Dutchman's 26 goals in the Premier League was a major reason as to why the Red Devils were able to win the title for a 20th time ahead of local rivals Manchester City.

Now under the management of David Moyes, Van Persie has expressed his desire to win more trophies.

"It's a new challenge for all of us but one we're looking forward to," he told the club's official website.

"We're all working very hard to get fit and, in my opinion, given the way we train and the way I have got to know the guys over the last year I'm certain we can win more trophies. We will fight to win this year again and let's hope for more."

Van Persie is part of the United squad that is up against an A-League All Stars team this morning. You can follow live text updates of the pre-season friendly here.
