Ryan Giggs delivers performances at the top level so consistently that it is becoming boring, according to Manchester United teammate Rafael.

Manchester United defender Rafael has declared that Ryan Giggs is performing so consistently that it is becoming "boring" to lavish the Welshman with superlatives.

Giggs scored on his 999th appearance for United on Saturday as the Red Devils ran out 2-0 winners at Queens Park Rangers.

Rafael was also on target at Loftus Road and admitted that Giggs continues to set his own standards through hard work and determination to play at the top level.

He told The Sun: "Ryan is an unbelievable player. Every game you see him, he works hard, scores goals and makes assists.

"He is such a good player it is getting boring. He is the same in training, he just loves to play the game.

"He is one of the top players that I have played with. He gives us experience, confidence and when you are feeling bad he comes and helps you, especially young players."

The 39-year-old is closing in on a 13th Premier League winners medal this season, with United 12 points clear of closest rivals Manchester City.
