David Moyes pleased to start Darren Fletcher

David Moyes is happy to be able to call upon Darren Fletcher to bolster his midfield.

Manchester United manager David Moyes has admitted it is a boost that Darren Fletcher is fit enough to start for the Red Devils.

Moyes selected Fletcher in his starting XI for the Boxing Day clash at Hull City, following his recent comeback after more than a year out with injury.

"It's great to be able to start with Darren Fletcher," he told Sky Sports News. "We're looking forward to seeing him play.

"He's done great in training in the last three months, he's come through some difficult periods and he's earned the right to start the game."
