Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will look to become the first Arsenal player ever to score in three successive away games against Manchester United during Thursday's clash.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be aiming for a slice of Arsenal history when Mikel Arteta's men meet Manchester United at Old Trafford on Thursday in the Premier League.

The Gabon international scored the winner in this fixture from the penalty spot last term after rescuing a point for his side in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford in the 2019-20 season.

Aubameyang's goals have helped Arsenal string together a six-game unbeaten run versus United, and the 32-year-old could write his name into the North London history books this week.

Should Aubameyang find the back of the net in Thursday's game, he will become the first Arsenal player ever to score in three consecutive away games against the Red Devils.

The Gunners have not posted back-to-back wins away at United for over 42 years, though, and Aubameyang produced one of the misses of the season in the recent win over Newcastle United.

Arsenal enter Thursday's game level on points with fourth-placed West Ham United and three spots above Man United in the table.
