Jordan White brace sees Livingston record comeback win

Livingston stay on the coattails of Alloa Athletic at the bottom of the Scottish Championship with a 2-1 win over Cowdenbeath.

Rock-bottom Livingston came back from a goal down to record a 2-1 win over Cowdenbeath in the Scottish Championship to stay within three points of Alloa Athletic.

Two goals from Jordan White cancelled out Nathaniel Wedderburn's opener for the home side to keep Livi on the coattails of Alloa at the bottom end of Scotland's second tier.

Wedderburn opened the scoring three minutes into the second period with a smart finish.

However, White restored parity when he headed home at the back post after an inviting cross from Myles Hippolyte after the hour mark.

Livingston nearly had the lead when Danny Mullen struck a clean shot at goal, but his effort could only find the post after Declan Gallagher had scooped over from close range.

White then netted his second of the afternoon with 10 minutes left when he rolled his marker and fired home with a powerful finish, and the visitors held on to record three important points in their survival bid.
