Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Newcastle United could line up against Leicester City in the Premier League.

Newcastle United will again be without some key players when they head to the King Power Stadium on Friday evening to face top-four hopefuls Leicester City.

The Magpies, who are 17th in the Premier League table, will be unable to call upon Fabian Schar due to the red card that the centre-back picked up in the 2-0 defeat to Arsenal last time out.

Joseph Willock is available, having missed out against his parent club, but Jamaal Lascelles, Ryan Fraser, Karl Darlow and Isaac Hayden remain on the sidelines through injury.

Head coach Steve Bruce is expected to resist the temptation to shuffle his pack from the defeat to Arsenal, with the Magpies on a strong run of form before the two-goal defeat.

Both Allan Saint-Maximin and Callum Wilson appear to be back to full fitness following recent injuries, and the pair should again feature as the front two at the King Power Stadium.

The back three and two wing-backs should remain in place, while Miguel Almiron and Jonjo Shelvey are certain starters for Newcastle in the middle of the park.

Perhaps the only major talking point surrounds whether Willock gets the nod over Sean Longstaff, but Bruce is expected to just stick with the latter on Friday evening.

Newcastle possible starting lineup: Dubravka; Fernandez, Clark, Dummett; Murphy, Almiron, Shelvey, Longstaff, Ritchie; Wilson, Saint-Maximin
