Ipswich Town and Barnsley go into half time 0-0 at Portman Road.

Ipswich Town and Barnsley go into half time with the score 0-0 at Portman Road.

After a slow start it was the visitors who had the first real chance of the match when Scott Loach produced a smart save to deny Marlon Harewood in a one-on-one situation.

Ipswich responded with a chance for Luke Chambers, but he put his effort over the bar from six yards out.

Barnsley should have taken the lead just moments before half time when Harewood hit the post.
