Everton are allegedly considering swapping Sam Allardyce for Shakhtar Donetsk boss Paulo Fonseca as part of a summer revamp at Goodison Park.

The Daily Mail says that Toffees majority shareholder, Farhad Moshiri, has been left frustrated with the club's recent results, having lost five of their last seven games following a seven-match unbeaten run after Allardyce's appointment.

The newspaper adds that Moshiri will assess the Englishman's performances over the next four months before making a decision, with Fonseca potentially in the fray to replace him.

Former Porto boss Fonseca, who moved to Shakhtar Donetsk in 2016, is in the final year of his contract with the Ukrainian club.

Everton's 3-1 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday was the team's second win in 10 outings.
