Crawley Town have completed the signing of experienced defender Jon Ashton.
The 32-year-old has made the switch following a six-year stint with Stevenage, whom he captained on a number of occasions.
"Jon is a great fit for this club. He's experienced at League One and League Two level and he's a winner," manager Mark Yates told the club's official website.
"This is a new challenge for him after a long and successful career at Stevenage and we are delighted to have as experienced a player as him in our squad."
Ashton, who has agreed a one-year contract at the Broadfield Stadium, started his career with Leicester City, before he went on to have spells with Notts County, Oxford United, Rushden & Diamonds and Grays Athletic.
