Chelsea defender David Luiz reportedly offers himself to Barcelona as a replacement for Javier Mascherano.

Chelsea defender David Luiz has reportedly offered himself to Barcelona after falling out of favour at Stamford Bridge.

The Brazilian has been dogged by rumours of a fallout with Blues manager Antonio Conte.

The defender, who was a regular feature in the team's back three last season, has not played in the Premier League since October 28 due to a mixture of injuries and lack of form.

Luiz has been linked to numerous clubs in recent weeks, and now Catalunya Radio has reported that the 30-year-old has made himself open to Barcelona.

Rumours are rumbling that the defender made his interest in a potential deal known during a recent trip to the Catalan city for medical reasons.

Barcelona are believed to be hunting for a replacement for Javier Mascherano, who has reportedly agreed a move to Chinese club Hebei Fortune.
