Martin Keown: 'Chelsea have very real problems'

Former Arsenal centre-back Martin Keown criticises Chelsea following their 3-2 home defeat to Burnley in the Premier League.

Former Arsenal centre-back Martin Keown has claimed that Chelsea "did not look like champions at all" in their 3-2 home defeat to Burnley on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues had Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas sent off at Stamford Bridge as three first-half goals from Burnley proved enough for the Clarets to record a shock victory on the opening weekend of the new campaign.

Keown has claimed that Chelsea have "some very real problems" amid speculation that head coach Antonio Conte is frustrated with his team's work in the transfer market this summer.

"Chelsea did not look like champions at all, they were arguing among each other, and there are some very real problems there," Keown told BBC Sport.

Next up for Chelsea is a trip to last season's runners-up Tottenham Hotspur on August 20.
