Chelsea's home clash with Tottenham Hotspur has been rearranged for Wednesday, May 8.

Chelsea have confirmed that their Premier League encounter against Tottenham Hotspur will be played next month.

The London rivals had been due to meet at Stamford Bridge last Sunday, but the fixture had to be postponed because Chelsea took on Manchester City in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Having considered a number of dates, it has been decided that the fixture will now take place on Wednesday, May 8.

It will be the home side's 66th match of the season as a result of their commitments in the FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League.
