Sam Vokes wants another "big result" when Burnley face Everton

Burnley striker Sam Vokes is confident that his side can get a result away to Everton following impressive performances against top-four sides.

Burnley striker Sam Vokes is hopeful that he and his teammates can upset Everton at Goodison Park this weekend.

The Clarets are currently two points away from safety, but they have snatched points off Chelsea and Manchester City this year.

Everton went through a difficult spell in the Premier League, but they are unbeaten in their last four fixtures heading into Saturday's encounter.

"Everton are another strong side in this league so it will tough again but we've got some big results against Manchester City, Tottenham and Chelsea," Vokes told Burnley's official website.

"It doesn't get any easier at this level, we know that, but it's a chance for us to go to Goodison and show what we're all about really. To show that the performances we've been putting in lately can justify a result."

Everton are currently 12th in the table.
