Tuesday's Championship predictions including Brentford vs. Norwich City

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Tuesday's Championship matches, including Brentford vs. Norwich City.

Barnsley vs. QPR (Tuesday, 7.00pm)

Barnsley play Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday night as two sides who are struggling for form attempt to turn their seasons around.

Barnsley are still searching for their first Championship win of the season after a draw with Millwall at The New Den. At the same time, Queens Park Rangers and Birmingham City extended their winless league runs as they played out a goalless draw at Loftus Road.

We say: Barnsley 1-0 Queens Park Rangers

We do not see many goals in this one, and it could be either a moment of brilliance or a lapse in concentration that decides it. We are backing Barnsley under new management to shade this one, which will see them draw level on points with the R's.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Blackburn vs. Reading (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Blackburn Rovers welcome league-leaders Reading to Ewood Park on Tuesday as both teams look to build on Saturday's resounding victories.

The Royals were able to see off Rotherham United 3-0, while Rovers dismantled a depleted Coventry City side to win 4-0 away from home, bouncing back from two consecutive defeats.

We say: Blackburn Rovers 2-1 Reading

As the league's top scorers welcome the division's strongest defence, this one could easily see both teams cancel each other out. That said, we are backing Mowbray's men - inspired by recent addition Harvey Elliott - to come out on top and end Reading's unbeaten run.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Brentford vs. Norwich (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Norwich City square off against Brentford on Tuesday evening having put together a three-match winning streak in the Championship.

The Canaries now sit three points above last season's playoff runners-up, who have lost two of their last four matches in the second tier.

We say: Brentford 2-1 Norwich City

While Norwich will fancy their chances of prolonging their recent positive run, we cannot help but think that Brentford will bounce back in this contest. It could be tight for the first hour or so, but the Bees may edge this game in the closing stages.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Middlesbrough vs. Coventry (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Middlesbrough welcome Coventry City to the Riverside Stadium on Tuesday night as these two sides meet for the first time since 2012.

Coventry will be looking to put their 4-0 defeat to Blackburn Rovers behind them, while Boro will be hoping to turn draws into wins, after failing to seal three points away to Cardiff City on Saturday.

We say: Middlesbrough 3-0 Coventry City

Warnock's men have shown they can grind out results in recent weeks, but we expect to see a more attacking Boro side this time around, and considering that they face a depleted Coventry side, we cannot see past the Smoggies for this one. We expect Boro to seal their second home win of the season, and inflict further misery on City's poor start.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Swansea vs. Stoke (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Swansea City welcome Stoke City to the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday evening having failed to win any of their last three fixtures in the Championship.

While the Potters have put together a five-match unbeaten streak in the second tier, they remain behind their hosts on goal difference.

We say: Swansea City 1-1 Stoke City

Stoke have conceded over half of their seven goals this season in the last two matches, something which will only encourage Swansea to try to press forward on Tuesday evening. However, we feel that the home side will continue to struggle in the final third, potentially resulting in an uninspiring draw being played out in South Wales.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Wycombe vs. Watford (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Wycombe Wanderers host Watford on Tuesday night as they go in pursuit of their first points of the season, having endured seventh a loss on the bounce thanks to a 91st-minute free kick from Norwich City's Mario Vrancic.

Like Wycombe, Watford too conceded late on, as they dropped two points at home to promotion-chasing rivals Bournemouth.

We say: Wycombe Wanderers 0-2 Watford

Wycombe were admirable in the fight they showed against Norwich on the weekend but, for all of their efforts, their midweek fixture against Watford could end in the same outcome. We see Watford's class showing on the night, and fully expect them to complete a comfortable win.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
