Rangers moved 32 points clear at the top of Scotland's League One with a 2-1 win over seventh-place Brechin City on Sunday afternoon.
A fairly tight first period brought just the one goal, with 19-year-old midfielder Fraser Aird registering for the away side after 23 minutes.
The hosts were level in the early stages of the second period when Robert Thomson converted from close range.
Rangers regained the lead after 66 minutes, however, when Nicky Clark scored with his first touch after meeting a cross from Jon Daly.
Clark had another chance for the visitors in the latter stages, but he fired his effort wide of the target.
Lee McCulloch had another half-chance for the away side late on, but fired his header high and wide of the crossbar as Rangers closed out the latter stages to collect all the points.
