Bournemouth confirm Paul Groves as their new permanent manager following his interim spell in charge.

Paul Groves has been confirmed as the permanent manager of Bournemouth after his caretaker spell in charge.

The 46-year-old was originally given the job on a temporary basis following Lee Bradbury's departure in March, losing just two of the eight games that he oversaw.

He will continue to be assisted by Shaun Brooks, with the pair both signing two-year deals with the Cherries.

Groves told BBC Radio Solent: "I am confident we can get the team to play in such a way the fans enjoy."

Bournemouth finished the League 1 season in 11th place.
