Bournemouth rename ground Vitality Stadium ahead of first Premier League season

Bournemouth's ground will be called the Vitality Stadium for their first Premier League season after a three-year sponsorship deal was agreed.

The Premier League's newest club, Bournemouth, have renamed their Dean Court ground the Vitality Stadium ahead of their first season in the top flight.

Previously known as the Goldsands Stadium, the new sponsorship deal with Vitality will run for three years.

Bournemouth commercial director Rob Mitchell told the club website: "Vitality also plays a very significant role in the town's growing economy, not to mention its encouragement of local people leading healthier lives."

The Cherries will kick off their first Premier League season with a home match against Aston Villa in just under a month on Saturday, August 8.
