Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan fails to recover from his ankle injury against Fortuna Dusseldorf at home this evening.

Ilkay Gundogan has been left out of the Borussia Dortmund squad for their Bundesliga game against Fortuna Dusseldorf this evening.

The 22-year-old midfielder picked up an ankle injury at the weekend and has failed to recover in time for tonight's clash at the Signal Iduna Park.

Robert Lewandowski continues to lead the attack for Jurgen Klopp's side.
