Mehdi Benatia has insisted that Bayern Munich cannot afford to lose focus as they look to build on their impressive start to the season.
Bayern have not been beaten since the DFL-Supercup in August, and continued their fine form with a 7-1 victory over Roma in midweek, but Benatia is determined to not let complacency become an issue.
When asked if there were big celebrations after the win over Roma, the Moroccan defender told the club's website: "No. We've got to focus on the next match against Gladbach. That's a big match in the race for the title and then there are more important games - the cup tie at Hamburg, the return match against Roma, the Dortmund game.
"We've got to keep our focus and each game as it comes.
"It was incredible. We started well [against Roma], scored early and that makes it difficult for anybody playing against us [but] there's a long way to go in the season."
Bayern make the trip to Borussia Monchengladbach on Sunday afternoon.
