Montpellier skipper Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa emerges as a reported transfer target for Chelsea and Arsenal.

Montpellier skipper Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa has reportedly emerged as the number one transfer target for Premier League duo Arsenal and Chelsea.

The 23-year-old is regarded as one of the most talented defenders in world football and has previously been linked with a move to Real Madrid.

He signed a new deal with the French outfit last month, but that has not stopped clubs monitoring his progress, according to talkSPORT.

AC Milan are also known admirers of the powerful central defender, who can also play in midfield.
