Arsenal target Dan-Axel Zagadou tells Borussia Dortmund he wants to leave?

French centre-back Dan-Axel Zagadou, who has been linked with Arsenal, reportedly tells Borussia Dortmund that he wants to leave.

Dan-Axel Zagadou has reportedly told Borussia Dortmund that he wants to leave the German club this summer.

The 20-year-old, who has made 38 appearances for BVB over the last two seasons, is believed to be of interest to Arsenal ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.

According to Bild, the return of Mats Hummels to Dortmund has unsettled the centre-back, who has now told the club that he wants to depart in this summer's transfer window.

The France Under-20 captain has a contract at Signal Iduna Park until the summer of 2022, though, meaning that Lucien Favre's side would be in a strong position in any potential negotiations.

Arsenal have also been strongly linked with a swoop for Saint-Etienne's William Saliba. The Gunners, though, could face competition from bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
