Team News: Danny Welbeck leads Arsenal's attack

Danny Welbeck will spearhead Arsenal's attack during their home encounter against Crystal Palace.

Arsene Wenger has selected Danny Welbeck to be the focal point of Arsenal's attack for this afternoon's Premier League encounter against Crystal Palace.

It means that once again Olivier Giroud has been forced to settle for a place among the substitutes, along with Theo Walcott.

In goal, meanwhile, Petr Cech has been restored at the expense of Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina.

As for visiting manager Alan Pardew, he has opted to make two changes for the short trip across London.

Wilfried Zaha has been dropped to the bench and Dwight Gayle is out with an injury, which in turn has seen Joe Ledley and Connor Wickham introduced into the team.

Arsenal: Cech; Bellerin, Koscielny, Gabriel, Monreal; Coquelin, Elneny; Iwobi, Ozil, Sanchez; Welbeck
Subs: Ospina, Mertesacker, Chambers, Ramsey, Campbell, Walcott, Giroud

Crystal Palace: Hennessey; Ward, Dann, Delaney, Souare; Puncheon, Jedinak, Cabaye, Ledley, Bolasie; Wickham
Subs: Speroni, Mariappa, Kelly, Lee, Sako, Zaha, Adebayor
