Alexandre Lacazette concedes that Arsenal's confidence is low as the Gunners continue to struggle for form.

Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette has conceded that his team are currently low on confidence.

The Gunners have only won four of their 12 Premier League matches this season and sit eight points off the top four in England's top flight heading into the November international break.

Saturday's 2-0 loss at Leicester City made it four games without a win in the league, while Unai Emery's side have only been victorious in one of their last seven matches in all competitions.

Lacazette has insisted that Arsenal 'did not play bad' against Leicester at the King Power Stadium, but the France international has admitted that confidence in the camp is low.

"We miss confidence and we need the international break. I hope we are going to come back well. We need to work more than we do now to find confidence," The Mirror quotes Lacazette as saying.

"We are very disappointed, we had chances in the first half. We couldn't score and you need to take your chances in this type of game. We have to work again and keep working every day. But I think we didn't play so bad, we just missed our chances in the first half."

Despite the team's struggles, Emery's job as head coach is reportedly safe as the Spaniard still has the backing of senior figures at the Emirates Stadium.

The capital giants will attempt to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they host struggling Southampton after the international break.
