The Weeknd on course for second number one album

The Weeknd is leading Morrissey in the race for this week's album chart number one.

The Weeknd is set to top the albums chart this week with his fifth release After Hours, according to data from the Official Charts Company.

The Canadian is almost 6,000 chart sales ahead of nearest rival Morrissey, who is at two with I Am Not A Dog On a Chain, his first original album in three years.

David Bowie looks set to return to the charts with Is It Any Wonder?, an EP collection of rarities, currently tracking at number four.

Elsewhere, Kenny Rogers is also in line for his first top 10 album in 35 years following his death at the age of 81 last week.

The country music legend's compilation All The Hits & All New Love Songs - first released in 1999 - is currently sixth in the chart.
