Live Lounge Allstars on course for number one

The Live Lounge Allstars' cover of Foo Fighters' 'Times Like These' is on course to make number one this week.

The Live Lounge Allstars' charity cover of 'Times Like These' is on course to reach number one in this week's UK singles chart.

The track featured 23 artists, including Foo Fighters, Chris Martin, Dua Lipa, Rita Ora and 5 Seconds Of Summer, and was recorded for the BBC's The Big Night In.

The song actually charted at number five in last week's chart based on a few hours' worth of sales, but is now set to ascend to the summit this week, according to data from the Official Charts Company.

The group could face competition from The Weeknd, however, with the Canadian's 'Blinding Lights' - a favourite on TikTok - just 5,300 sales behind at the close of play on Saturday.

Last week's number one, a cover of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' by Captain Tom Moore and Michael Ball, is down to number three.
