Scotty T was reportedly forced to miss a day of filming on the new series of Celeb Cooking School after making himself ill.

The E4 reality show sees Michelin-starred chef Giorgio Locatelli attempting to educate hapless celebs on the fundamentals of cookery, with the worst performer being eliminated each episode.

The second series is currently being filmed but according to The Sun, former Geordie Shore star Scotty T, 34, ate too much raw cake mix during one challenge, making him sick and halting filming.

"Scotty started vomiting and couldn't stop - he had to be rushed to the on set medics and then put on bed rest - filming ground to a halt and couldn't go on without him," a source told the newspaper.

"In the end he missed a whole day of filming. It turns out he ate too much raw cake mix so he was back the next day but it gave everyone a scare."

As well as Scotty T, the lineup for the series also includes former politician Ann Widdecombe, dancer Louie Spence, TOWIE's James Argent, Drag Race favourite Blu Hydrangea and comedian Spudzz.

The group is completed by Made In Chelsea's Olivia Bentley, Stormzy's rapper cousin Nadia Rose, Irish actress Ruth Codd and lawyer/media personality Nancy Dell'Olio.
