Former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas has reportedly signed up for the new series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

The show, which puts famous faces through a gruelling SAS-style selection course, will begin filming its 2023 series abroad in the coming days.

According to The Sun, the latest to sign up is 38-year-old actor Thomas, who has previously appeared on physical endurance shows such as Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls and The Games.

"Ryan didn't have to think twice when he was asked. He loves pushing himself and taking on tough tasks," a source said.

"He knows it will be extremely challenging, but he is determined to see it through. He knows his brothers Scott and Adam won't let him live it down if he drops out early."

Others said to be in the lineup include singer Gareth Gates, former TOWIE star James Argent, ex-footballer Jermaine Pennant and socialite Tamara Beckwith.
