Gordon Ramsay is reportedly in talks with ITV about bringing back the UK version of Hell's Kitchen.

Gordon Ramsay is reportedly in talks with ITV about spearheading a revival of the UK version of Hell's Kitchen.

The foul-mouthed chef launched the show in 2004 with a cast of 11 celebrities, who were charged with manning a kitchen under his watchful gaze.

After just one series however he left to head up the US version, which was a huge success - running for 22 seasons to date - and made him a household name on the other side of the pond.

Now, 20 years later, ITV is looking to resurrect the format with Ramsay back at the pass, according to The Sun.

A source said: "Early conversations are happening and ITV are very excited about the prospect of it returning.

"It is one of Gordon's biggest shows around the world by miles and is broadcast to around 100 countries - so it really is huge.

"The real hurdle for him will be fitting it in among his other commitments, but everyone seems thrilled at the mere idea."

Due to Ramsay's other TV commitments - including Next Level Chef and Future Food Stars - as well as his worldwide restaurant empire, the proposed UK reboot of Hell's Kitchen may not air until late 2025.
