Gareth Thomas is reportedly among those taking part in the new series of Channel 4's Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Welsh rugby legend Gareth Thomas is reportedly part of the lineup for the next series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

The show - one of the toughest on television - is currently being filmed in Vietnam, with the likes of singers Michelle Heaton and Gareth Gates, actor Ryan Thomas, former health secretary Matt Hancock and The Wanted's Siva Kaneswaran among those thought to be participating.

According to The Sun, they have been joined by 48-year-old Thomas, who earned 100 caps for Wales between 1995 and 2007, becoming his country's third highest try scorer in history.

A source said: "Gareth is a fantastic name and the production team think he will make for some fantastic television.

"Channel 4 and the production team decided to switch up the location after filming in Jordan for the series that is on screen now. Everyone working on the series is hugely excited about the new show."

The new series will air on Channel 4 in late 2023.
