Donald Trump will turn boxing commentator this Saturday, it is announced.

Donald Trump is to provide boxing commentary for Evander Holyfield's bout with Vitor Belfort this weekend, it has been confirmed.

The former President is known to be a huge boxing fan and famously staged a fight between Mike Tyson and Michael Spinks at his Atlantic City casino in the 1990s.

Trump's bizarre turn as a boxing commentator will be available as an alternative audio option for viewers in the US watching coverage of ESPN's fight night this Saturday night.

The 75-year-old will offer his thoughts on the entire night's lineup, which also includes David Haye vs. Joe Fournier.

"I love great fighters and great fights," said Trump in a statement. "I look forward to seeing both this Saturday night and sharing my thoughts ringside. You won't want to miss this special event."

Trump will be joined on his commentary feed by his son Donald Trump Jr.
