Bruno Tonioli wants Meghan Markle for Dancing With The Stars

Bruno Tonioli names Meghan Markle as his ideal contestant on the US version of Strictly Come Dancing.

Bruno Tonioli has urged the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle to appear on the upcoming 29th season of Dancing With The Stars.

The show - the US version of Strictly Come Dancing - is due to return this September and features Tonioli, as well as original Strictly judge Len Goodman, on the panel.

Markle, meanwhile, relocated to California with husband Prince Harry earlier this year, making her Tonioli's top choice as a contestant on the new season.

"She is here [in Los Angeles] now. She would be great," he told Extra. "It would make her look accessible and funny, it would be brilliant.

"Meghan if you are watching this, we would love you to do it!"

US network ABC has yet to confirm a return date for the series amid suggestions that it could be delayed due to the problems caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
