David Boreanaz wipes Instagram amid Joss Whedon controversy

David Boreanaz deletes almost all of the pictures from his Instagram account following allegations against his former boss Joss Whedon.

David Boreanaz has mysteriously deleted all but one of the pictures on his Instagram account amid the allegations against Buffy, The Vampire Slayer showrunner Joss Whedon.

The 51-year-old, who starred in Buffy and headlined its spinoff Angel, has been under pressure from fans to comment on the claims against his former boss.

Earlier this week Charisma Carpenter alleged that Whedon had created a "mean and biting" atmosphere on set, including making disrespectful comments about her pregnancy, while co-star Michelle Trachtenberg said that "not appropriate" behaviour led to the producer being banned from being alone with her.

Boreanaz has thus far maintained a silence on the issue, although late on Friday he wiped all of the pictures from his Instagram account and in their place uploaded a black and white photo of his father taken in the 1950s.

Whedon himself has still not commented on the allegations against him.
