The Chase's The Beast wants to become "seven-foot drag queen"

The Chase star Mark Labbett reveals that he is a huge fan of RuPaul's Drag Race.

The Chase quizzer Mark Labbett has revealed that he is a huge fan of RuPaul's Drag Race and is keen to appear on the show.

'The Beast' described the series, hosted by the legendary US drag queen RuPaul, as his "guiltiest" pleasure and also put himself forward for a potential celebrity edition.

"My guiltiest TV pleasure is watching RuPaul's Drag Race," he revealed on This Morning.

"If there were a celebrity version, I would do it. I'd be fabulous. I'm 6ft 7in, so in heels I'd be the world's first seven-foot drag queen!

"It is the best produced reality show on telly by a mile. The challenges are original and it's consistently funny."

New episodes of the US version currently drop Saturday mornings on Netflix, while the second season of the UK version is due to air on BBC Three later this year.
