Tom Davis keen to bring back Murder In Successville

Tom Davis says that he is hopeful of bringing back DI Sleet and Murder In Successville for new episodes in future.

Tom Davis has revealed that he is open to the idea of bringing back Murder In Successville for new episodes.

The part-improvised comedy series saw celebrities enter the fictional town of Successville in order to solve a murder, aided by Davis's character DI Sleet.

The show earned cult status, running for three series, but ended in 2017 with no word on a future return.

"It was the most incredible show to make. I'm genuinely blessed," Davis told Metro.

"It genuinely makes me sad to think I'd never put on a raincoat and grow a handlebar moustache again.

"It would be good one day to bring it back, and bring it back in the biggest way possible... Never say never."

All three series of the show are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
