Dougie James, the father of Ryan Thomas, Adam Thomas and Scott Thomas, has died at the age of 72.
Earlier this year the siblings starred with their father on Absolutely India: Mancs in Mumbai, an ITV travelogue series that saw them travel to India to explore their family heritage and meet distant relatives.
Dougie was a soul singer who toured with the Jackson 5 in the 1970s and also worked with the likes of Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder and James Brown.
The musician's brother Barry, who was a member of his touring band, wrote on Facebook: "Thanks to Ryan, Scott and Adam for letting me know the legend that was my brother Dougie James has passed away.
"Thanks for the laughs the musical education bro, see you on the other side."
The cause of Dougie's death is currently unknown.
