Miss Great Britain signs up for The Circle?

The reigning Miss Great Britain is reportedly taking part in the new series of The Circle.

The reigning Miss Great Britain, Jen Atkin, has reportedly signed up to appear in the new series of The Circle.

The 26-year-old went on a weight-loss journey after an ex-boyfriend told her that she was "too fat" and went on to be crowned Miss GB after losing an impressive eight stone.

The Circle allows its contestants to either play as themselves or come up with a different personality, and according to the Daily Star, Atkin will play the game using photos of her past appearance.

"Jen has signed up to take part in the new series of The Circle," a source told the newspaper. "She is the current Miss Great Britain and is the stereotypical Instagram babe but she wasn't always that way.

"Jen's been on a major weight loss journey and that will be her storyline. She will only be using pictures of her larger former Miss GB self and wants to see how people react – she was bullied when she was younger because of her weight so it will be interesting to see how things go down."

Normally the leak of a contestant's identity to the press would rule them out of appearing on the show, although all of this year's contestants are currently thought to be in isolation ahead of filming starting later this week.
