Madonna has revealed that three people close to her, including her cousin, have died from coronavirus.
The 61-year-old has been isolating at home for the best part of a month and has been particularly active on social media, posting enigmatic videos and experimenting with new songs.
In her latest video, the 'Bitch I'm Madonna' singer is seen at a typewriter, telling the audience: "We can't always have a good day."
Later on she reveals that she has been personally affected by the deadly coronavirus disease in recent days, saying: "In the last 24 hours my cousin has died, my security guard's brother has died, and Orlando Puerta, a very important person who played a very important role in my life in terms of getting my remixes to chart on the dance charts, [which was] in large part due to Orlando's passion and commitment to my music."
