Katie Price wishes Simon Cowell "speedy recovery"

Katie Price sends her well wishes to Simon Cowell after both of them find themselves on their backs for the foreseeable.

Katie Price has said that she wishes old friend Simon Cowell "a speedy recovery" as he recovers from a broken back.

The Got Talent and X Factor mogul broke his back last month while test driving his new electric bike, forcing him to miss his planned TV commitments on both sides of the Atlantic.

Price, meanwhile, is facing up to two years in a wheelchair after shattering both feet and ankles when she jumped from an unexpectedly-high wall while on holiday.

"I know what he's going through," Price told The Sun. "We are both workaholics, so to be on our backs sucks."

Over the weekend Price opened up on the extent of her injuries, describing her feet as "disgusting" and looking "like Cornish pasties".
