Katie Price 'gets £10,000 diamond-studded wheelchair'

Katie Price is reportedly gifted a £10,000 pink, diamond-studded wheelchair to aid in her recovery from two broken feet.

Katie Price has reportedly been gifted a £10,000 luxury wheelchair as she faces the prospect of at least half a year off her feet.

The 42-year-old broke both feet in an accident on holiday in Turkey earlier this month and has suffered damage serious enough that it could take her up to two years before she is fully recovered.

In the meantime, Price will be forced to spend most of her time moving around by wheelchair and according to The Sun, accessory firm BiGDUG Company has provided her with a suitably-lavish vehicle for the occasion.

"Thanks to the team at BiGDUG for creating this bespoke, one off wheelchair, just for me," she told the newspaper of the chair, which is pink, embroidered with the letter 'K' and has 6,000 hand-applied diamonds.

The former glamour model is being helped through her recovery by new boyfriend Carl Woods, 31.
